Wishes Are Not Facts

A utopian syllogism:

1. It is human to err.

2. Humans do not wish to err.

3. Therefore, humans can avoid error by wishing not to err.

By (3), the wish (2) overcomes the fact (1), but only in the imagination. Wishes are not facts.
